Kevin Richey currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona. He received a BFA in Film Production from New York University, and currently works as a freelance writer.

His favorite films include Citizen Kane, 2001: A Space Odyssey, 8 1/2, Fanny and Alexander, Au Hasard Balthazar, and The 400 Blows. His favorite genres are suspense, horror, sci-fi, and fantasy. He also has a strong affection for animated films, and anything in the Criterion Collection.
